Logically Illogical

In this era of web information, the possibilities are endless.  There is an infinite amount of resources on the internet, you just gotta be patient and scour it one by one, filtering out the garbage.

• Conceptart.org Forums sometimes have good tutorials.
• Mark Kennedy’s 7 Golden Camels blog.  Scroll down and look through ALL the archive on the right side.  Probably will learn more from this blog than any art classes out there.
• James Gurney has everything.  And I mean, EVERYTHING.  Scroll down and look at his blog index on the left.  Colors, composition, animation, lighting, painting technique, perspective, watercolor, etc etc.

Good luck.  Don’t feel discouraged by the fact that you can’t afford art school.  These days, with the existence of the internet, the successful artists are not the ones with a degree, but the ones with the motivation and work ethic to do a helluva lot of self-study.
