Logically Illogical

VisComm homework for this week.  I waited until the last day to do it and as a result I was up until 4am doing this with three other people.  We were all getting delirious and hilarity ensued.

Homework this week was to do two pages of form study, where you make a random blob and try to come up with contour lines that make sense for that particular blob.  This exercise helps you understand three-dimensional organic form so you know where the shadows would fall, and where the highlights should be. 

Then another two pages of form study, but for these forms we were supposed to dissect them.  Imagine taking a knife and slicing through these forms you made up.  Fill up the inside with texture/pattern/bunnies/whatever.  

We were also supposed to do two pages of textures/patterns, but 1.5 pages in I went AHFUCKTHIS and gave up.

Lastly, two pages of interconnecting 3-D objects:  box, sphere, cylinder, pyramid, cone.  We were supposed to take these five objects and intersect them to study the overlaps.  This one actually required thinking, a lot of thinking, and as a result there were constant cusswords coming out while doing this.
