1. There are actually many online idea generators. You just have to google them up. Here’s two to get you started:
2. Of course there would still be gravity on it. The problem isn’t gravity, but rather the orbit. If the moon was made of cheese, to keep the same orbit it would have to be a different size. I don’t know the density of cheese nor the density of moon, but if the cheese moon is less dense (my guess is that it would be) than the original moon, then the cheese moon will have to travel slower around the earth for it to stay in orbit. If you’re keeping everything the same and just changing the elements that make up the moon to cheese, it will spiral out of orbit

3. Yes I am. I went to UCSD as an undergrad and majored in physics. I graduated 2006 and went to UCI for gradschool, hoping to get my PhD in physics. In gradschool I realized I’m not smart enough, so I quit after I got my Master’s and started teaching physics in 2008. Drawing is just a hobby, although admittedly I do spend most of my waking hours just drawing, it’s more fun than physics.
4. I learned the anatomy of hands from a book by Michael Hampton. I forgot the name, but it’s a book that teaches figure drawing, and there’s a section for each body part in there. I also took a figure class taught by Rad Sechrist, and he gave us nice tips on how to draw hands. Rad actually has a tutorial blog, which you can check out. This is the post on hands and fingers.
5. I’m actually not experienced in terms of artbook. The most I know is that the paper and color quality of racomicsdirect is better than kablam, but those are for comics. If you’re doing an artbook, you’re gonna want a company who can gloss-coat your interior pages to make your colors stand out more. I recommend asking other artists who have released an artbook (for example, finni), they should be able to help you more in terms of printing places and such. Most of my friends who have released an artbook either live in Canada and used local printers there, or have a connection with someone who lives in Asia (cheapest, hands down). I neither live in Canada nor have connections in Asia, so I can’t really help you there, sorry!
