Logically Illogical

Lines 2013 is finally done!  Sent to the printer last night.  If all goes according to plan it should be available at Fanime in San Jose and Anime Expo in Los Angeles.

Lines is a collection of my sketches and doodles.  This year’s book is a bit special to me personally, as it chronicles my exploration with various styles and influences.  It’s more than just sketches for the sake of sketching, but a lot of experimentation and learning through trials and errors on my part.  It’s been fun for me, I hope you enjoy it as well.

Pertinent information about the book:

• Book Dimension:  5.25” x 7.5”
• 40 pages interior on 50lb aged newsprint with 100lb silk cover
• Perfect bound (decided to go a bit fancy this year)
• Price: $10 at con - $11 online (to cover paypal fee)
• Shipping via USPS: $3 US, $4 Canada, $6 international

Like last year, this is also a limited run, meaning once I sell out I won’t be reprinting these books anymore.  I’ll be selling them at this year’s summer convention and will open online sale after cons are over, probably sometime toward the end of July.  I will make another post when I open online order.  

If you’re interested in getting a copy but unable to attend Fanime or AX, do not worry, I will definitely have leftovers.

“Space Pirates” seemed a good idea at the time.  Plus, Star Trek Into Darkness is coming out, and I’m super excited for that.

First OP colorspread in what, a year? Two? Certainly has been awhile.  Unlike the other ones, this one was done fully digital on Photoshop.  I tried mimicking Copic in the coloring, but it’s all digital.  All in all it was a fun experiment.
